About the event
We have searched long and hard to find the renowned but reclusive artist Jean Von Blanc (pictured attached of him leaving one of his art shows). We wanted to bring him back to Boise (his last appearance was 15 years ago for a solo show at Flying M) for an exclusive one night only event and we found him, raising and training pigs to help forage for truffles in the south of France. We were able to convince him to come to the Back Alley Printshop (In the stern of Spacebar Arcade) and share with you some of his art, of which we will be printing, live for you to purchase and take home with you. This is a one night only, exclusive event and we will not be printing this artwork again. Make sure to get down to the Arcade Underground to meet the man, the myth, the legend that is Jean Von Blanc and take home his highly sought after art at the Downtown Boise Associations 1st Thursday, November 2nd 2023 from 5pm to 9pm.
Come for the art show and stay for the after party! From 8pm to midnight, we will also be celebrating JD’s Bodega 5th Anniversary at Spacebar by hosting their after party complete with music provided by DJ, Pace Jackson. Art, Live Screen Printing, Arcades, Pinball, Live Music, Full Bar and Fun! Make Spacebar, the arcade underground, your first stop when you are out in beautiful Downtown Boise Thursday, November 2nd, 2023.
